Brass hack saws

These were in a box lot and appear to be one-offs.  They are solid brass and the top one weights 3.5 pounds.  Anyone have any ideas on why someone would make such saws?

No identifying marks on either saw.  Here is a close up of the design---It is not crisp, but it is on both sides of the saw.  The other saw is entirely smooth and a little rougher.

Thanks for the close up picture. I would think that the saw frame was made by pouring molten brass into a mould. But why would a person only make one ?  Maybe there are more out there in the wild ?

The surface decoration on the top saw may be non-existent, but that handle!

The rest of the box lot had no relation to the saws, mainly 50's Craftsman stuff.
