OK I give up, what books do I need?

I have relied on you folks for too long.

I need to get the books that have the wrench secrets in them.

The trouble is I don't know which ones to buy.

Christmas is coming , maybe I can make a list........

 If you only expect one gift I would vote for "The History of old time Farm Implement Companies and the Wrenchs they issued" by PT Rathbone Vol I,II,and III
 If you expect two gifts I would add Ken Copes American Wrench Makers 1830-1930 2nd Edition.
 I would also recommend Schultz's "Wrenchs Antique and Unusual" but its out of print and available only in the secondary market.
 I have some others but these are the ones I go to most often, Happy Hunting

What type of wrenches are you most interested in?
I collect patented and unusual adjustable wrenches so I use Copes and Schultz's more then Rathbone's books but I have all of them except Rathbone Vol III.

I have a marked up copy of Cope (I add patent numbers and notes of wrench makers Cope missed).  The attached shelf photo shows:  My hand-bound copies of all the MVWC newsletters in 6 volumes; my hand-bound copy of Shockley's 3 volumes in one; my copy of "dad's book" -- the pages are in sheet protectors in a 3-ring binder and I have lots of notes on those pages; Steve Eckers' patent book; Wullweber's Antique Wrench Book (215 photos from the Wullweber book are reproduced in "dad's book"); the Smith's book on Fencing tools; Jack Devitt's books on Indiana and Ohio Toolmakers; Rathbone vols. I & II - what do I pull out to make room for vol III?
I missed Onie Sims' book on "Hog control" tools.
