I went to the local auction house, about a mile from her, and spent the day bidding off and on, on wrenches I thought I'd like. Picture 1 reveals what I found:
- a 4 1/2" "Mack" wrench,
- three 4-inchers by Barcalo, Craftsman (different from the others, again), and some Germans,
- two 7" Morgan - Albany Wis quick adjust wrenches, and
- Diamond Tool chain wrench.
I also found some other tools: a historic #1 combination hatchet made by C. Hammond of Philadelphia, a pair of sheep shears made by Columbia Cutlery Co.of Reading, PA, and a strange Singer Sewing Machine Company device(Serial 153958) with slot in it from the tip up to the knurling, marked with circumference marks: 1/4, 3/8, 1/2, 5/8, and 3/4.
I had to buy a lot of avoirdupois in the boxes with these interesting tool finds which is one reason I don't go to auctions that often.
