Bolt's Antique Museum needs help
« on: January 03, 2013, 04:24:58 PM »
What is it?
This tool is a stamped, combination wrench that is 6 inches long. It has 5/16, 7/16, 1/2, 9/16, and 13/16 openings, with a screw driver on one end.

It also has a spark plug gap gage @ .032, under the gage there is a compartment that has a solid brass pin and brass cotter pin.

Can anyone identify this tool?

Just a guess but maybe for a boat motor. Brass shear pin for the prop and cotter pin for the nut that held the prop on

Ditto on boat motor tool, have seen that somewhere before....
Just a weathered light rust/WD40 mix patina.
