Another site forum member helped me grab two more Williams Obstruction wrenches, bringing my total now to 8. Hope y'all enjoy the pics.

Those are sweeeeeeet George!!
How long did it take you to assemble them?

I do have a hint for you.
When you first asked me if I had any obstruction wrenches? I was thinking the big, bend in the middle, U shaped wrenches.
Manifold wrenches I later found out those were called.

But the real obstruction wrenches like you have, are the ones with 90 degree jaws.

You might want to add that when talking to guys unfamiliar with the pattern,  so we know what you mean. :)

These 8 wrenches have come from 6 different sources. They represent about a year's worth of scrounging.
After posting this pic over at GG, a guy said he had just seen one at a flea market last weekend. He said he'd go back and see if the guy still had it. Here's hoping for #9!

According to AA, Williams made 34 models of this wrench. So, I have a bit of a way to go to get all of them - if that's even possible this late in the game.

Member Ken W. came through with 4 more obstruction wrenches for me. And I think I have a line on one or two others.
I like these Williams wrenches!

As a side note, I'm beginning to see a trend comparing my group of Williams to those listed at AA. They don't have an actual copy of every 2xxx wrench. But every one I have, they have. They have some I don't, but I don't have a single wrench that they don't also have. Maybe the ones they have are the most common ones? Is this an indication that the rest of the sizes gleaned from the catalogs are not around anymore?

I have this one, I believe marked 1120.  I note it is different in that only one end is offset.  Looks to measure 5/16" across the flats.  As you can see it is not shiny.  You're welcome to it if its in your scope.

Thanks for the offer, Oily, but I'm focusing on the obstruction wrenches.
And another showed up in my mail box today. A #2725, 7/16" x 1/2".

I've added some more bent wrenches to my collection, now up to 20. Figured and updated family photo would be enjoyed by all.

I have a thought on why certain models/sizes just aren't showing up.   Back when, only rarely did fellas buy the etc. tool in sets.   Sure some did, but with money as tight as it was, I feel a lot of guys only spent money on what they had to have.   When standard size bolts were in use exclusively, manifold bolts, starter bolts  on a variety of engines probably only came in 3-4 sizes.   Maybe on aircraft, marine engines there were 3-4 more sizes, so if a jobber kept a full supply on the wall, only 3 sizes regularly went out the door.  Anyone agree on this?
