Easy one!!  Mounts on a bench grinder to sharpen chisels, plane irons, etc.  I have quite a few Craftsman ones, but have never taken the time to set one up.  I may even have a set of the instructions.  I'll look for them over the weekend.

I agree, but to tell the truth, Gene is a returning Tool Talk member from before the "crash".

Thanks guys.......Must fit a Big grinder. My normal pedistal grinder has grease fittings in the way and a tapered shaft housing. Then the diamond bit must be for dessing the grinding wheel
I will try it in my 1 hp 10" B&D.

If you can find the setup instructions I would like a copy please

Thanks,
Bob B

Actually,  They were made  for the 1/3 - 1/2 hp Craftsman dbl wheel  (6-8 inch) grinders. Speaking of which-- I got one at an auction last Winter in the orig box. The ring man tore open the end flaps.  Never opened! It even had the carbonless shipping tag on it from the Sears catalog department  dated 1965.    Thanks for the recognition Papaw,  I really need to post more instead of eavesdropping every evening.
