The Corn King Wrench has Taken on a Life of It's own....
« on: September 27, 2012, 01:54:11 PM »
Folks:  No one expressed interest in the Silo wrench I posted a bit about, so I put it on ebay.  it's gone from the 9.95 start up to a full c-note in less than 12 hours.  May have to donate a little of that to the Papaw Internet Slush Fund if it gets really out of hand....

anyway, I was going to let everyone know that it did get posted...and I'll be more diligent in looking for these at future auctions......

Far out!  I hope it keeps going.

I had the same thing happen with a 4" Wescott s wrench a few years ago....gotta like it!

I'll take another of those crackle finish boxes :)

I just knew you'd get rich someday on one of your finds.

I predict it has legs. Would estimate $300-$400. Great find.

$423.37 - I'd say that fetched a pretty penny.  300-400 was a good estimation.

Well, the wrench that laid the golden egg finally got paid for last Wednesday.  A nervous few days of non payment, but it did save me from having to contact the person that bid 422 dollars.....  BTW, $400 worth of insurance ain't cheap through USPS either, but the piece of mind......priceless.
