Very neat :)
And I'm proud to be an American,
where at least I know I'm free.
And I won't forget the men who died,
who gave that right to me.

If I win, it will cost me! Almost over and I'm top bidder, but at my self-imposed top bid.

Didn't win. I just wouldn't pay over $50 for it!

That was a nice one. It's tough to set those limits and stick to them. Better luck next time.

Too bad you missed out on that one Papaw. There are a lot of similar interchangeable-bits-stored-in-handle tools, but I don't think I've seen that particular one before.

On a related note, have you been noticing all the neat old tools that seller has been offering for the past several weeks? Seems like it must have been a pretty impressive collection before he started selling everything off.

He has been selling some very nice stuff for quite a while. Must have quite the honey hole somewhere!

I picked one of these up at a local flea last year.  They are not particularly uncommon...at least in the markets I frequent.  I usually don't buy them 'cause they aren't USA made.  In this instance it was $5 so I took the plunge.  Can't remember how many tools were in it and since I'm not home can't look. If they're worth this kind of money I'll pay more attention to them.

With the hammer head? There are many out there with just the drills and other attachments.

Papaw,
It had the hammer head just like the one pictured.  I assume you're interested if I run across any more?

I'll keep an eye out for you.  The ones I've seen have been in FL.  And I won't be back there until Oct.

I got one! Not in the top condition of the other, but at a reasonable price.
