??W & CO
« on: July 17, 2012, 05:35:49 PM »
I should know this but am drawing a blank. Stamped on the end is ??W & CO. Below that is ?? USA. Also on the shaft is a triangle with an M inside or a W depending on which way you look at it. (Mossburg or Moore?) Sides on the M are straight not curved. Also marked 530. 3/8" x 1/2 " and 5 3/4 " long.

Any chance of a shot of the logo? Failing that, is it an M or a W when holding the 3/8" end up?

Couldn't get a decent shot of the logo or stamping. With 3/8 end up its a W and the long side of the diamond is horizontal

Sounds like a JH Williams logo, but it doesn't look like a JH Williams wrench...

Don't you have a "macro" setting on your camera?

Any chance the triangle / diamond has a T W in it?
Just a weathered light rust/WD40 mix patina.

It is a Williams set screw wrench.  The 1960 catalog has those sizes for the No. 530 double head set screw wrench.
