12" Long Plastic Handled Jimmy Thingy-Jig

I'm not giving up, but I'm putting it in the "I don't have the time right now" pile.  The best I can figure is some sort of tool to work the window or lock mechanism in the door of an auto from atop.  Either way - I'm grabbing it next time why wife locks her keys in the car - looks handy.

It is probably a trim tool for detatching interior panels in an auto. I havn't seen that exact shape, but I have seen somewhat similar ones. (They are for getting behind the push clips that hold the plastic panels on).

The "tabs" go the wrong way to be for jimmying door locks.

I agree with trim tool. It's too short for a jimmy and I've never seen one with a handle.

I believe this is for removing the stainless steel trim used on cars pre-1970.  They had spring clips hidden behind the trim, pushed thru holes drilled in the sheet metal.   Back before trim was put on with double sided tape.  Body mans friend.
