H90 Plow(?) Wrench
« on: February 22, 2012, 08:03:42 PM »
I was wondering if anyone here can help ID this old wrench. The typical resources came up empty (Rathbone, MVWC newsletters). This example isn't in perfect condition by any means, but not to bad either for what I would think it's age would be. I'd sure like to put it in it's rightful place in my collection. Thanks for any help.

Bus sold one in the 06 Friedman auction, but the description is confusing.

It is one of 2 wrenches that were in the lot, I don't know if the description applies to both or just the other one.....

Lot # 1421
http://home.southwind.net/~donhaury/friedman/wrench-cat-2006.html

The description of the lot: "Lot of two: 11" "H90" and 9.5" "156" after market wrench for Ford (hub cap, spark plug, etc)"

Perhaps Bus will peek in ...

Just a weathered light rust/WD40 mix patina.

Thanks Rusty. I didn't compare it to the worthless ford wrenches, but to me it doesn't make sense to be an aftermarket Ford wrench. The sizes look to be different, it's made differently than any of the Ford's or the other aftermarkets I've seen. Maybe Bus has some resource that says that it is though. Wouldn't be the first time I'm wrong.
