Anyone have any insight on this hammer head? It is marked P & F...

Wondering if it wasn't Rail Road property at one time ?    Pioneer & Fayette RR.   
Is it from the Toledo Ohio area ?

From the postioning and orientation it does look more an owner's marking than a manufacture's brand. Just thought!
A light wire brushing might reveal more, in either case it looks like it's still a good user.

The hammer has an odd feature, the flat side of the hammer runs into one of the flats going into the head (right), usually a ball pein hammer is cut in there to match the other flats......
Just a weathered light rust/WD40 mix patina.

It's just a variation in ball peins.  The Heller I just got from Frank Lee is made like that, and I have at least one other.  (Maybe more -- I kinda stopped noticing the differences)  I think it may be an older pattern.  I haven't chased down information on it, but the first one I got is definitely an elderly ball pein.   If anybody knows more about this pattern, I'd sure like to know.
