Spinut Ratchet

Got a few new toys in the mail today.  Now trying to learn about one.  It is a 3/8 drive ratchet roto head type.  Shown next to a 4" for size comparison.  Any info on this ratchet or this tool company?  This is what it says.

 "SPINUT TM ---- DAV. TOOL CO. - ELDRIDGE IOWA - PAT. PENDING"

The company seems to be Davenport tool co, who also seems to have specialized in reinventing old things. in a different PS is an ad for a quick adjust  type wrench of the type where the handle pivots and closes the jaw....

I think it could be classified as a stuby roto ratchet.  Never run across one in the wild, and I don't think I've seen anyone else post one.  The price in 1979 does not seem unreasonable.  On the other hand, in 1979 I owned but one ratchet, a Crafty  3/8" LLTD with quick release (new in 1966).

The wrench you speak of is just like the Cochran Speednut Wrench. I have one and used it not too long ago to pull the crank pulley on my wife's PT Cruiser. 100 years old and works like new.
