Armstrong 1/4" set

I have an Armstrong 1/4" set I picked up a while back. I was wondering if it is complete or if I have missing/extra pieces. Does anyone have a catalog with this listed, or any other info? I'm guessing it is from the mid 1950s.

I think you have a near complete tool complement in your set.  The range of sockets looks correct.  The ratchet and flex handle match.  Not sure about the T-handle/cross bar (this is likely a cross bar for your flex handle). Does the flex handle have a female drive on the end of the handle?

I'm guessing there should be at least one extension or a spinner handle that doubles as an extension (perhaps 6").

Thats right there is hole it slides through and a detent ball to hold tight.  Don't know why i didn't see it before.  Thanks.

Next question would be what size extensions and what part #'s.  I guess a 3" would be common anything else?

Sumner I have a 1948 catalog that has the NMA-51 ratchet listed but it the older flat style handle not the round one. I also have an older catalog from C-39 (1939?) that shows a NM-51 ratchet with that style handle, 4" long. Yours looks like it might be a little longer.The logo doesn't look right though. Thought I'd do my best to muddy the waters. The logos from either catalog doesn't look like the one you have.

Thanks guys.  I picked up the set at an estate auction of an engineer.  I saw this pictured in the auction listing so i made the 45 min ride.  Then i spent almost $1000.  Got the wife a nearly new washer and dryer, and several boxes of tools.  Most of the tools were snap on and blue point supreme.  I was making my mid 1950's guess because of the date codes of 1955, and 1956 on the snap on stuff.  Also picked up several of the octo-grip screwdrivers.

I hope the majority of that $1000 was spent on tools. When my wife needed a new washer and dryer, I got her a rock to best the clothes on and a line to hang them on. Let me tell you this. Do not piss a woman off and give her a rock to knock you out with and a rope to tie you up.

That ratchet sure looks like Proto made it. I have a 3/8 Armstrong ratchet and the parts interchange with a Proto 3/8 ratchet.
