F. Co. wrench
« on: December 07, 2011, 02:39:15 PM »
This nonsensical wrench sits on my desk, resisting my urge to toss it. Has anybody either worked for, or even heard of, F. Company?  It seems whichever F. Company employee undertook to emboss this wrench was maybe still learning the job.  Or, perhaps, he was expressing himself.  Whaddya think?

The only reference I can find (other than Fire company ;) is that 'F. Co' was used by Fleischmann Co of Cinn. OH back when they were selling feed. (1917) The context seems to indicate it was used as a feed brand tho...\

Just a weathered light rust/WD40 mix patina.

Just toss it my way.  F Company -- wasn't that the dysfunctional cavalry unit  in the TV comedy?

That would be "F" Troop, 1965 and 1966, with Forrest Tucker, Larry Storch and Ken Berry.
Absolutely hilarious comedy.
