Antique Hollands Vise Questions

Hi all,

I haven't posted a while here but getting back into my antique collection. Now this Vise pictured came from my Grandfather/Great grandfather since I got all their tools and was wondering what version it is and an estimated possible year it was made? I looked all around it and I did not see anything but "Hollands MFC CO" and Erie PA. The jaws measure about 4.5" and is very heavy.

Now I searched all around and everyone that is similar has more info on it such as Pat No on it or other writing, So my question would be, does anyone have any information about it, was it one of the first ones produced etc... It also came from New York City where they lived. I can send more photos if needed.

Why 2 pics of the same side?  Whats the other side look like?  Model no. on it?

My bad I forgot to add it :)  But here it is.

There is no model number anywhere but just now I did just see a 5 when I turned it upside down. I searched for a while and with a magnifying glass.

Edit: It also weighs about 55lbs and the Jaws open up past 8" if that helps.

Don't know, but I sure found a lot of Hollands catalog page images just now when I typed in "Holland vise history" to The Google.

It's a nice 1.  No model kinda puzzling to me. Post 2 nice side photos here (the vise mothership" asking about age and model.  Keep it short/sweet.  There are holland experts there.

It appears to be a Hollands 35 with the weight and jaw width. And I went to that board and they said that it is probably a  "transitional Vise" that is dated probably from around 1909 from looking at an advertisement and that was the first casting style advertised around 1909 and it didn't have the new cylindrical "screw spindle" But rather the original "Meatball" Screw single.

Also, another gentleman mentioned that the handle looks like it could be from 1890-1900.
