Lectrolite Defiance O.
« on: January 31, 2019, 06:39:47 PM »
I put together a set of Lectrolite Defiance O. 300X offset wrenches in honor of a friend from that town in Ohio.
Now, I'm nearing the end on a set of their double box end Defiance O. wrenches.  I have everything from 3/8 by 7/16 through 13/16 by 7/8 including the battery wrench and the starter/manifold wrench.  But it seems like I read somewhere that there is a smaller one, yet, a 1/4 by 5/16.

Do any of you folks have any solid info on this, or should I start putting a board together?  The wrenches are of the style in figure 5 below.

That's the set I'm nearing completion now.  I'm looking to find out the size of the smallest wrench in that set.
Anyone out there have a catalogue of Lectrolite Defiance O. from the 30's?

I have seen a catalog that appears to be late 40's or so and the only DBE 1/4 x 5/16 is in that very set.

I only have this one.

That's the set I'm working on.
I seem to have everything except the 1/4 by 5/16.
Thanks a lot!

Just went out thru the snow to the garage.  No, unfortunately no small Lectrolite.  I have 9 Lectrolite box wrenches of various types.  Two are the type Northwoods is collecting, but the smaller one is 3/8 x 7/16.  Every time I look at them I wonder if I should try to complete a set.  Probably won't happen.  I have a good start on an S-K set and would more likely follow through with that.
