no, its about 3/8" thick

Nice work Papaw.  Bgarrett, what are the steps to posting that large photo. Mine, at 250kb look like oversized thumbnails.

You guys are Incredible! Delighted to learn what it is, disappointed that its not a tool. Dunno about my picture. On my screen its about 1 1/4" by 2"

This is the greatest tool forum on the net .D id you expect less .?  I have been a member for a couple of months and almost every day learn something new. great bunch of  tool addicts here.  the guy that needs the ooohrah is the guy  holds it together ( Noel )

Of course it's a tool.  A cobbler's tool.  Got shoes too tight?  Use this tool and make them fit.
