IHC Tool
« on: November 06, 2011, 10:41:54 PM »
I have no idea what this is for but it's a neat piece. I'd appreciate any information. Also may put it up for sale so any idea of value? Other than IHC the only marking is U50.

Rathbone lists 2 as sold for $5.00 and $12.50 back when tools were valuable.

Bus will probably know...

It's apparently listed in Rathbone along with the other half (U51) - which you're apparently missing - as R1-255. Here's a picture from The Wrenching News:

It's used in the McCormick-Deering seeding drills.

Thanks for the answers and thanks lbgradwell and Bear.

These IHC tools are pretty scarce in the middle of Los Angeles.

Not to be confused with TBGG (The Big Green Guy)

Just a weathered light rust/WD40 mix patina.

The first clue for me was IHC- International Harvester Company. Probably a machine specific tool
