Back to the scrap yard!
« on: September 10, 2016, 03:15:53 PM »
My continuing adventures in the $1 per pound scrap metal pile at my local recycling center.
Penens 1661 1/2 drive ratchet
Herbrand 634
Kraeuter A1820
Fairmount
Indestro set wrench
Mystery (Made in USA) set wrench
and...
A Walden Worcester Spintite #3412 3/8 nut driver.

Everything works perfectly, no damage aside from a little surface rust, the Penens feels better then my 10 year old Snap-On! And the wood handle on the nut driver is perfect. Not bad for $3

And it was all turned in for scrap.
Rogue River, OR.

there are junk yards around here, but due to the cost of liability insurance, the yards are off limits to the public.

I have the little brother to your Penens.  The 3/8" No. 1261.
You did good!
