Malco tool tote
« on: January 26, 2016, 08:12:10 PM »
I have been looking for a Malco tool tote #1602. These were made in the 80's. They came in blue and red. They had a removable tray and a lid with Malco inscribed on it. I would really like to find 1 complete.

Malco used to make some of the best tools. Since about 2012 or so they've changed. I know for a fact that their new screwdrivers are outsourced. Went looking for one of those pukey-orange colored screwdrivers. made out of polycarbonate. Found out from my dealer - and regional rep - that they had been discontinued. Malco said they couldn't compete with the Asian manufacturers and were going to stop making drivers and just outsource them. Bummer.

I hate to hear that. I have always thought of quality with Malco. The plastic tote I am looking for was such a great product. I am an HVAC tech and this is what I used years ago. Malco is located in ANNANDALE Minn. I was in hopes that maybe someone from there might see this.

It's not just the screwdrivers.
A person who could really read human minds would be privileged to gaze on some correct imitations of chaos.
