Very likely. Ampco is known for such tools.

A  brass / AMPCO metal  version of the "TEDDY" is surely uncommon -- I don't recall ever seeing  one in auction inventory or displays at  MVWC meets.

I have only seen one before: Lot 344 at the 2010 King Herrington auction at the Davenport, Iowa meet. Is it a keeper?

I agree, "The Teddy" isn't common.  A brass "Teddy" is pink elephant rare.
You might say I have a tool collecting problem....

Hey! I've got one of those. Didn't realize it was rare though. Here it is alongside a steel Teddy.

These are the only two Teddy wrenches I've ever seen first hand. Do they usually have a nail claw, or is it just the Ampco ones?
My friends call me Bob. My wife calls me a lot worse.

Maybe because you have TWO!

Very nice. I hadn't noticed the claw until I saw your pics.

I have had to buy brass tools for sprinkler-fitters to use around MRI / NMR machines.
So, not just non-sparking, but also non-magnetic.
