Joar wrench
« on: September 10, 2011, 09:33:03 PM »
I picked up a 6" Joar today,  a search here did not return anything but it seems to ring a bell for me.
Smaller than this one pictured here.

I remember that also, we had a thread about it, was it a conduit wrench?
Just a weathered light rust/WD40 mix patina.

It's a conduit wrench. See add below from July 1948 Popular Science Magazine.

They actually made more sizes than stated in the ad.  I have the following numbers:
3, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 20, 22, 24 and 28. I don't have a 7 or 14.
