oldtoolman - RIP
« on: July 27, 2014, 11:39:02 AM »
So, it appears that one of our members has passed...

The following was taken from a thread at GJ by rebrewer:

Quote
Hi all,

A long time GJ member, Larry Randall (OldToolMan) died unexpectedly Thursday. Larry was great fun and could talk tools, cars and motorcycles for hours.

Think good thoughts for his wife of 52 years, Peggy.

I checked his profile here and Larry was last active early morning Thursday; he must have passed later that same day...

Dang, that's a bummer. I hope they got good internet service wherever he's gone, so he can keep up on what goes on around here. RIP Larry!
My friends call me Bob. My wife calls me a lot worse.

Too unexpected.  There are less Larry's all the time.  Nice guy.

My condolences to Peggy and the rest of their family.

And I'm proud to be an American,
where at least I know I'm free.
And I won't forget the men who died,
who gave that right to me.

I noticed that GJ post as well. Didn't know if he was a member here or not.

Sorry to hear that news.

Hello all and thank you for your condolences.
I am Larry's son by the same name. Some one at garage journal pointed out that my dad was active here so I thought I would stop by. I am a tool head like my dad so I will try to carry on his legacy.

Thank you for stopping by, Young Tool Man.  My condolences to you, your mom, and your family.

Good to know your dad put your feet on the correct path.  I'm sure he was proud.

My condolences to the Randall family and friends.
