Homemade hammers

Got these out of a bucket and the guy said what he didn't sell was going to the scrapyard.
I just had to rescue them.

Those are cool! I can see putting some fine wood scales on them after some finishing work.

The top one was going to become a strap hinge for a barn door or other, somebody needed a hammer instead.   Hand work in both, my blacksmith assoc. collects hand made tools and items that were definitely forged.
