I've learnt to  say "collector" in lieu of " hoarder." Mrs. Chilly accepts the latter.

Welcome from Colorado!

Only the garage?  How about the dining room, living room, kitchen, basement and bedroom?  How did you keep her from noticing those?

It is not a hoard.

It is a strategic maintainance resource consolidation zone....

It is all in the terminology....

(Yeah, right)
Just a weathered light rust/WD40 mix patina.

Fife Lake eh? If you drive Supply Road very often, I'll bet you get some use out of those tools and your welding skills just keeping your vehicle's suspension system in good repair!

Heh-heh, welcome from TC!  :-D

My friends call me Bob. My wife calls me a lot worse.

Hello and welcome from north central ID.  Me, I settled the question of whether I was hoarding or collecting with my ex- when I (usually) came up with just the Right tool for any job.

I have driven Supply since 1978. It has abused a lot of more than it's share of cars and trucks. It is so much better now (sarcasm) that they fixed it! It is/was much better than Shippy though.
I have tools scattered through out the homestead not just the garage, but she is getting "concerned" about the tig welders I have been eyeing. I am looking at a Dynasty 350

Hello an welcome to the group from another welding student in Illinois.
And I'm proud to be an American,
where at least I know I'm free.
And I won't forget the men who died,
who gave that right to me.
