this weeks slim haul,
« on: March 18, 2014, 12:34:16 AM »
Was in some junk shops this week, one of them really really junky.   At least the guy had tools divided by maker and sae and metric.   Found some hand saws, and a little set of wrenches.  Six black iron wrenches with japaning still present, coe, standards.   Red tin holder, snaps around the stack, DUNLAP.   Wrenches look unused, so i got it.  Then today at a pawn, went looking for a metric wrench, did not find one.   But did come up with a PLVMB pebble, a Par-X, and a SHAW.   First Par-X anything I have seen in a long time,  and the SHAW, looks very indestro/proto, another COE.   Why do I keep browsing!    Will take pics if anyone is interested.

Yes, Dunlap was the budget line but darn good tools. I believe they were discontinued in 1964.

Gonna have to try and make a holder/clip like that for my ratcheting DBE Dunlaps.

The others I got at the same time, or day, at least.   Shaw?   Par-X,  and PLVMB
