crescent socket set
« on: September 30, 2013, 06:50:37 PM »
Remember when you could get a 3/8 and 1/4 drive socket set in a steel box including a 3/8 rat;1/4 spinner;3/8 extension; a plug socket; 6in adjustable;slip joint plier; and a 4in mechanics screwdriver for $17.95. Well you still can I got this set for 1/3 of that. However it was missing 6in adjustable;the pliers and the screwdriver. I have the adjustable wrench and probably the pliers but what does a 4in mechanics screwdriver look like? That lid liner is paper and prior owner kept it pristine. Can't even grumble about prior owner not taking care of his tools. Maybe 4in blade driver with yellow plastic handle ?

Very nice set.   Have had a few Crescent brand end wrenches,  and seen a few sockets, but never stumbled across a screwdriver.  Yellow handle would probably be pretty close, for that era of box.

I'm no expert camera guy myself-not being critical-could you take a more lighted picture of the contents as these "Old" tired eyes don't see much!!  Cranky

Jim , try the " Fill flash " setting. Usually works for me.
