I left them on the table
« on: September 13, 2013, 11:03:54 PM »
Saw these last weekend at the swap meet.  Talking about the wrenches in the tool bag.  They were all marked Germany, good shape, price asked was $17.  Saw some other stuff but the fella was grumpy, and I think as hard of hearing as I am.

I'm curious as to what the tools, or device, is that has double wooden knobs (appears circular).  I see two of them in the picture.
"FORGED IN THE USA" myself.  Be good to your tools!

The wrenches look like Einhanders.

I saw a set of " one handers" made in Spain last week , The quality wasn't good compared to German ones.
About the same as Taiwan tools. They were $2 each , and I left them there.
Of all the things I've lost , I miss my mind the most

So did you get everything else Partner?? grin
Both the routers are good ones if they weren't broken. Both of them early.

Was that a regular 78 inbetween the two long curved handle tools?
Speaking of which, those long ones were scrapers of some kind?
I can't quite see even at 250 percent blowup of the picture :)

Yes, both early examples.  One #71 (bottom) and one #71 1/2.  These work surprisingly well.  I use mine mostly for inletting.
