How to recover your Avatar
« on: May 01, 2011, 11:49:25 AM »

For those who , like me, forgot where they put their avatar image, the following *may* work...

go to: Google image search (Note: The link here is preset to search only papawswrench.com)

add your username after the word 'avatar' in the "related to all of the words" field

Click 'Search", and hope for the best....

Note: if you find your avatar image, click on it, then ALSO click 'Full size image' to get the original, otherwise, you will get a weird bmp version of it.

Just a weathered light rust/WD40 mix patina.

I had my avatar handy but I tried your method just to see and it worked for me.

Thank you for posting that I'm sure it will come in very handy.

The search results also brought back some images of posts I made and will resurrect.
All my taste is in my tools.
