Steve, I believe those are magnetic inserters for split-collar keepers used for rotating free valves on Fords. Early 1950s?

I have a 1957 K-D catalog. The guy who gave it to me, borrowed it back and now he can't find it. When it turns up I'll look it up.

I must be missing something here guys. The tool in the shop manual is nothing like the KD tool.
