IHC - ZA810
« on: April 06, 2013, 05:09:47 PM »
I've been looking at this wrench for 2 months and was wondering why it had a (stand) or what ever it is on it. I stopped by today and everything in the booth was 1/2 price so I snagged it for 2.25.
I looked thru all the pics on the wrenching news's 2013 sale and found it, says its a 9.5" Pitman wrench and is Embossed Vertically Variant (is that the stand?)
I didn't see the number until I brass brushed the area after.
I'm starting to like these farm wrenchs.

That projection was to spread the end of the pitman arm on IHC mowers. Won't make you rich but well worth what you paid ($3-5)range. disclaimer ( I have not used one of these to spread pitman but I do have a pitman arm and one of these wrenchs so I could try it.)

Thanks Jim, when I first saw it I kind of figured it was a display piece on a counter top somewhere.
But the other part of me felt it was used for something but had no clue.
