Mfg'ed under COES patent Steel?
« on: February 10, 2013, 05:10:01 PM »
I was going through some stuff out in the shop today and I found these guys I'd forgot about:

The little pipe wrench marked Trimont MFG Roxbury, Mass.

The largest has a football-shaped logo, but that all I can make out. You can see where it has been brazed at some point.

That middle wrench is marked COES Wrenchoo (?) Worchester, Mass on one side of the head, and on the other it says Mfd'ed under L COES Patent Steel.

The "football shaped logo" is ROBINSON ( http://www.datamp.org/patents/advance.php?pn=320172&id=22422 ).
The TRIMO pipe wrench has the 1911 patent nut guards ( http://www.datamp.org/patents/advance.php?pn=1012036&id=31566 )
The COES knife handle is the handle frame & marking style used from about 1906 through the COES sale to Bemis & Call in 1928.
