Welcome to Tool Talk!
Search for Thor in the Power tools forum. We have discussed Thor several times.

Hi Loyd!  Welcome from North Dakota.  My dad had one of those Thor 1/2" drills, he was an electrician most of his working life, my son has it now.  Those things can be a real arm twister but with a good auger, can bore through multiple studs with ease.
