smalls from auction

(1/3) > >>

jimwrench:
Got these smalls at auction today. The GJ adjustable is smooth. The two armed wrench looks familiar but can't place it. Most of others are magneto and ignition wrenchs. (several splitdorf) Any info on the two armed one appreciated.

1930 has one of these, and I'll let him tell you what he found out about it.  He sent me a copy of a catalog with this wrench.  He did the research, so it's his information.

Lostmind:
I like that arm wrench, never saw one other than a photo.

Lewill2:
2 arm is in Schulz #903, Mfg Gray Toronto is all that is listed.

Branson:
OK.  I got the catalog from 1930.  What you have is a "GW-1 Special Wrench (case hardened), for changing charging rate on all Ford and Liberty generators as used on Ford cars."  Quote from catalog #9, Gilfillan Automotive Replacement Parts, Manufactured by Gilfillan Bros., Inc., Kansas City, Los Angeles, New York, Oakland.   Retail price, 50 cents, 25 cents wholesale.

1939 has the one I ran across last year.
