The E in a circle in a diamond belongs to Erie Tool Works, Erie,PA

Odd to see it on a modern wrench pattern, usually seen on Briggs type etc...
Just a weathered light rust/WD40 mix patina.

Then that is a bit strange...

Lakeview Forge & Erie Tool Works have been connected for almost 60 years. This Lakeview Forge is the company that has the L-in-a-keystone mark.

As I mentioned above, AA believes that Lakeview logo in script (as on John's pipe wrench) was a Ward's Lakeview product.

If AA is right, that would mean that Erie was connected to both Lakeviews.

Hmmmm...

 Wow, wouldn't that be interesting?
If they were both connected, and Erie too??

But I was only talking about the common Lakeview script logo, which is the one I was thinking connected to Wards.
The L in a keystone Lakeview, I hardly ever get to see.

JohnK, It's a 26 in box. Here is the link back to when I started working on it.

Oh, I've been afflicted off & on for some time now...

Notwithstanding my little oversight, it does appear that Erie was connected to both; as an owner/sister company of Lakeview and a manufacturer for Lakeside.
