What is this used for?

Got this at a yard sale back in april and only bought because its in good condition and was only a buck.

Sorry about the pics, brought camera from ac to heat & humidity and she fogged up.

I have a small one of those used to jack weeds out of ground. You could uproot small trees with that one!
