A few additions to my collection that meet the under 6 limit.

H. Port is pictured, the miniature by Hilary Klein and a original H Port wrench. November 30, 1875 patent, patent number 170,492, Hilary's miniature is on the bottom in the picture.

Moses P. Stearns wrench made by yet another Worcester Mass wrench maker. Similar to H. W. Hewet June 27, 1840 patent, patent number 1,659. Can't find anybody that knows anything about this maker. He was listed as a machinest circa 1850-1875 and he died May 2, 1883 at the age of 71.

I don't know how I missed this thread, but I sure did.  I thought I had some small wrenches, but mine don't hold a candle to yours.  Absolutely love them.  You have done an outstanding job!!!

Do you know if Jim Keats still makes the Hawes wrench?  I have one of the large ones and a small one would sure look nice beside it.

Jim Keats as well as Hilary Klein make their wrenches in batches. They make/made one style at a time and they usually don't re-make them again. I believe I got one of the last ones he had of the Hawes run. He didn't have the large knurled screw that locks the head in position on his miniature. For some reason he had a spring loaded ball detent setscrew in that location. I had Jim Leamy (a well known tool restorer and wood plane maker) make a locking screw for mine. I think my miniature Hawes is the only one that has that feature. As far as I know there aren't any miniature Hawes available at this time.

Les, that's an amazing collection of Hilary's wrenches and worth a small fortune too. Stan announced at the meeting that you
had an illustrated list of Hilary's wrenches available in .pdf or printed form.

Both Hilary Klein and Jim Keats were at the wrench club meet this weekend. Hilary didn't make any wrenches this year but Jim had his latest for sale. I don't remember the patent but it was a neat quick adjust nut wrench. Dick Lawton had loaned Jim his original six incher from his collection for a model.

Jim Keats latest is a 4 inch version of the Cleveland Archey patent quick adjust wrench patented May 12, 1914 patent 1,096,663. I have one already, I guess I need to take a picture and include it here.
