..........the haul to get it all home bleeds into the next several days!

..........you find that wrench in the bottom of the toolbox that makes you the money back on the buy + your gas + lunch = rest of the tools for free.

..........you speed home and jump on tooltalk and start a thread titled "I hit the motherload"

..........you post your goodies on Tooltalk and get the attention of the "real collectors".

..........you rent a storage unit on the way home.

.....you find tools Alloy Artifacts hasn't photographed and written up yet, that pre-dates any they have of that brand, and they don't even acknowledge your email offering a photo for their page.

How's that??

.... your 21 year old Honda rides much better on the way home than it did on the way out.

..... the guy that you bought the wrenches from helps you load the car and you each make 3 trips.

....you begin thinking that you may need another display board or two.

.....it occurs to you that it's been a while since you last hosted a tooltalk giveaway.

...when the $10 toolbox you bought has a $20 in the bottom....

..When I have no clue what it is, and no one here does either ;P
Just a weathered light rust/WD40 mix patina.

Not a wrench (yet) but I've found other things -- like a good tool box for $10 that I later discover has a Stanley 101 1/2 back in the back corner.  Or a good old wood tool chest bought for less than it was worth, but on opening it, found a Stanley #3, #4, and a #40 1/2.  They would have bought the gas and lunch, but there was no way to part me from them!

Not a wrench, but the box itself. I got lost and burned up more gas and time than I planned for a bunch of what I originally thought was junk. Sold it on ebay for a reasonable amount.
