Won my election!
« on: April 25, 2012, 10:59:23 AM »
Hi guys!

I won my election for a two-year term as our Township's Republican Committeeman, 64% to 36% of the vote, over my worthy opponent.  My job will be to identify, screen, and endorse candidates for elective offices in the township and county; to keep Republicans informed about matters of specific Republican concern and/or viewpoints; and to get Republicans out to vote. I am moderately excited about participating in the restoration of our country's economy and freedoms.

Congrats guy. Half the population can't even be bothered to vote, so I have to give you double credit for going out and doing something :)

Same here, I better keep my young political mouth shut.

I have a feeling thats best.
And I'm proud to be an American,
where at least I know I'm free.
And I won't forget the men who died,
who gave that right to me.

It seems whenever anyone starts voicing their opinions on the subject someone gets offended so its best to keep your mouth closed no matter what your age

OK, Left wingers cool your jets.   It is only fair that the Right wingers seek out their best candidates too.   The Left has a monstrous effort going  to register voters now as well as they did in the past and many Community organizers.    Isn't that the type of Democracy our brave soldiers fought and died for ??   It is a Freedom and Right for both sides,  Correct ???     One sided equals Hitler, Hirohito, Mussolini, Mao, Stalin.

I commend you for being involved, Bob!
I think the vast majority of citizens don't recognize that the "down ballot" arena is where things get started, Too many just watch the national elections. You guys on the committees are the true backbone of our system.

NOW- In keeping with the guidelines of Tool Talk, we need to avoid any political disagreements, OK?
