Ron, no, not a pilot.  I use the Papa Tango name because my name initials are PT.  Also, one of my sons is a Navy Chief Petty Officer (parachute rigger) and another close friend is a retired Master Chief who crewed on PT boats.  The PT boats were referred to as "Papa Tangos".  It just seems to be a good fit.  Glad you asked and my apologies for being tardy with the reply.
