Do-Ray "Electric Flare" red emergency light.
« on: May 30, 2011, 01:33:57 PM »
6 volt lantern battery powered. All metal housing and base. The red is glass! Age dis-colored, but functions perfectly.
I keep it on my shop shelf and switch it on and off, about every time I see it.
A wonderful red!
The back has a place for a hanger.
Doubt if many have survived.
My guess is it was made in the early 1950's.

I made a friendly effort to get Chuck to let that lamp come home with me, but no joy! I don't blame him a bit. It is operational, and very cool!
