AllWay SD41 2000V
« on: January 17, 2012, 05:11:12 PM »
Here's a USA made Allway with a fiberglass shaft that needed a good home. I have provided that. I heard that Stanley bought the company so the USA version of this tool is probably no more. The patent number is 5638727. It ain't pretty but it seems to be very well made.

Hey, I have one of those....bought at, believe it or not, Walmart...... several years ago!!!

I think I paid a little less than $4 for it.
Allway made some nice little tools.

Here it is, except mine don't have a custom paint job!

Yes, not quite the same without the 'custom' work. Does yours say USA on the top. Just wondering if the newer ones are USA made. Amazon still sells a version under the Allway name but I think I did read that the Stanley conglomerate now owns it.

Yep, mine is Made in USA also. That's the reason I bought it at the time, everything else was more expensive made everywhere else crap in their tool aisle!!

I've found it handy, and go to it more than most of my other screwdrivers I have laying around. Love the feel and size of it, it just fits my hand well.
