I need some advice.
My wife ordered a kit for a toy " Irish mail handcar ", it has an upright handle that
you pull and push to make it go.
The company called  they can't find wheels for it, 5 spoked plastic wheels, 10 inch in
front 12 inch in back.
Our daughter put a kids bike out for the trash, I picked it up. It has wheels that are
marked 12 1/2 X 1 1/4, that I measure 11 inch in diameter ????.
I think that I'll put another son-in-law on the look out for kids bikes, he is a
" recycler " ( thash picker ) . I shouldn't joke as he got us our " roadside brand "
dishwasher.
Any suggestions?

Ray

Wheels shouldn't be a big problem unless they are driven by the push-pull mechanism in some way. What makes the wagon go?

To Papa

We haven't got the kit yet,the supplier says they can't find the wheels. So instead of returning our money they will send us 2 wheel-less kits.

I think that the bent rod with the forked end is the back axle, and acts as a crank.

I'm trying to understand how a company can't find all the parts for one of its currently listed products.

I see how the cranked rear axle works. Just find some wheels that the forked end will engage , wheels that fit the axle diameter and you are good to go. Take the axle to HF or some place with wheels, and find ones that the fork will fit to.
