Snap-on made in mexico??

Tonite at my local auction house I saw a socket,or an extension from snap-on that said meixco on it.
It did look a little older.I havent seen this before.Anyone know whats going on there???

Snap-on had a production facility in Mexico in the mid 60's.
The stuff was for the local market, rather than for export here, so your socket is a bit lost....


There are also snap-on tools made in Canada.....

Just a weathered light rust/WD40 mix patina.
