B Inside Circle M Company
« on: May 28, 2011, 08:39:07 PM »
Can anyone identify the manufacturer of this offset screwdriver? I really like the design but am lost as to who made it. I know Bonney sometimes used a Circle B but don't think this is Bonney.

No other markings other than the one shown.

Isn't BMCo = Braunsdorf Mueller Co? (Forgive my spelling)

Yea, AA has some pictures also, tho they seem to have the dates botched a bit, Bransdorf was incorporated in 1901, not founded, it was founded in 1888.

B.M.Co , and B-M-Co logos (no oval) were also used sometimes, particularly for screwdrivers.

A patent search for this company is probably worthwhile, datamp only shows a single patent, but I got several matches incidental to the company name....
Just a weathered light rust/WD40 mix patina.

Ive noticed some  tools here that funny color but I have never seen one myself. It is strange and dont care much for it, whats the idea behind it?
Always looking for what interests me, anything early Dodge Brothers/Graham Brothers trucks ( pre 1932 or so ) and slant six / Super six parts.

J.A.F.E.  has the colored tools, I think it's his camera.

It's likely to do with the background I use too. I think the color tends to shift the color balance a bit.
