I'm starting a new thread instead of hijacking Wrenchmensh's similar one (
http://www.papawswrench.com/vboard/index.php?topic=2754.0).
At first glance this is a simple double open-ended wrench. There is, however, what appears to be a short, wide, <<thick>> screwdriver blade shaped tip at 90 degrees to the handle.
Overall length is 6 1/2", with a 1/2 inch and 7/8 inch end, with the protrusion in question on the side of the grip on the 7/8 inch end.
The only marking is K99.
It's been suggested that the tip could be a shackle spreader, but it would have to be a very small shackle and the short length of the wrench wouldn't provide much leverage.
Ideas as to purpose of 'blade' and, of, any other info, anyone?
