Sale just outside of Auburn NY
« on: May 19, 2023, 03:47:35 PM »
This place has sales every so often and they posted one this weekend, so I swung by on my way home.
Crestoloy wire cutters - light rust but I could tell they were in otherwise like new condition - and they are!
Snap-On R-2428 date code 1959
Snap-On 75 date code 1951
EnFo wrench manufactured by T. Williams (England) # 01A17016
Western Auto Stores wrench - was bundled with the EnFo
IHC wrench #67(?) - what was this for?
Vise-Grip 6R and 10WR
General No. 835 Angle Divider - not something I know much about - but could not pass  it up at the price.

Hey Al. Nice haul! That Angle Divider is a very handy layout tool, probably designed for woodworkers, but I am sure it would come in handy for a welder , or, fabricator! Similar in design to the Stanley No.30, looks like yours is complete!!

You did good.  The IHC wrench was one of many included with a planter or binder, because before WWII farmers did not have many wrenches.  There are books one could look up the numbers to find what it was for.  I sort of collect Wizard WA wrenches

John, I saw a Wizard wrench there, but do not know if it was WA.  Have you got a picture?

The angle divider splits an angle in half, telling you miter cut you need to make.  You can set it into a corner, tighten the nut, and use it for direct layout on the molding/baseboard/etc. you're fitting into the corner.
