« on: March 14, 2023, 08:51:31 PM »
This is something I have had for years, was never sure of its use. Recently I spotted one while doing some research, so now I know!! Dumb luck is better than no luck!!

Nice one, that is a hard one to find. There is a bench clamp that was made for the baby bullet vise that is equally hard to find. I recently found a company in the UK that sells a 1/2 sized power arm for small vises. You have to make your own adapter plate to mount the vise as it just has a 12mm threaded stud to mount your tool and/or vise.

Hello, JoeCB and Lewill2. I missed a letter while looking this up. I have a 347J, which may fit the Powrarm for the baby bullet!

This is something I will definitely look for going forward.  Rare, unique and not readily recognizable.
You might say I have a tool collecting problem....

OK iptools, I'm still not "getting it" ... it looks like it's designed to clamp on an edge... but to clamp what?
how is this clamp used? why the splayed legs"  Can you show a picture of it in use?

I'm back, here is my little Wilton and Power arm... I don't see how that clamp would be employed? maybe parts are missing?

Joe B

Now, after looking at the base of my power arm and the splayed "fingers " of the clamp... I get it
The fingers wrap around the base and clamp the assembly to a table/ board edge.... correct ?

Joe, I think you are correct. What confuses me is why the recess is on the top of the ""U" I would think it should be on the bottom of the "U" opening to capture the base of the Power Arm assembly. I should have my miniature Power Arm clamp in a few days, I'll post some pictures when it arrives.

Hello, JoeCB. I don't have a Powrarm base to show, I will see if I can find a photo from someone else!
