Reai nice group of quality tools. The "plane float" is something new to me. I'm guessing that the teeth are knife like, sorta' like a Vixon file ?

Thanks everyone ! The teeth on the file do resemble a Vixen cut, although straight across ( not curved ). Safe back and edges, I believe it is used to smooth the cheek cuts in a wooden body plane, but not 100% sure yet! Also uncommon having a socket end, most are a Tang end.
